We found a few military aerial lenses recently and we’re listing them on eBay here today. Please have a look at all of them if these interest you. This is a German Military Schneider Aero-Xenar 32cm F:3.5 Hersteller KGC Bauart KGC. It is likely World War 2 era. The aperture ring works and the iris blades look ok. The lens has an orange filter integrated into it for haze I presume. It is under the front retaining ring. there is som fungal spots under the front filter, but i am not going to attempt to unscrew it to clean them. There is some duat and haze as well. Please be aware that they are present and the lens will need attention, if you plan on using it for photography. The lens is quite heavy. It is approximately 4.5 inches in diameter at the front. The lens body has marks scratches and marks and was clearly used in aerial photographic work in a plane.
