We recently acquired a few military aerial lenses and are listing them here on eBay. This is a large Schneider Kreuznach 500mm F:5.5 Tele Xenar mounted in an unusual aerial housing. It has a lever that moves the lens forward and back in the housing. To be perfectly honest I am totally unfamiliar with these type of lenses. Please feel free to ask any question and I’ll do my best to answer. The lever mount looks to have two replaced screws in the mount, see photo. The glass seems good although I do see 2 scratch lines in the interior. I cannot remove the lens from the mount to try and clean the interiors though. I have only cleaned the surfaces. The lever is very hard to move, please see the video. The aperture ring is quite stiff. It requires an effort to move it. The iris blades are good.

The housing has plenty of rings and scratches from use. It was clearly used.
