These are vintage Salewa 12-point adjustable crampons, historically used for glacier ice climbing and alpine mountaineering. The small metal rings located on the sides of the frames were designed to thread traditional canvas, nylon, or leather binding straps through, allowing climbers to tightly secure the spikes directly to heavy leather mountaineering boots. The central, jagged connecting bar is fully adjustable via screws to change the length of the tool depending on the size of the boot..
Great display in your cabin or add straps and use them.
