BLUE BEETLE #1 — MODERN COMICS 1977 — CGC 9.4 — WHITE PAGES — STEVE DITKO

A beautiful high-grade Bronze Age copy of Blue Beetle #1, published by Modern Comics in 1977 and professionally certified by CGC at an impressive 9.4 Near Mint with White Pages.

This edition reprints the sought-after Charlton Comics Blue Beetle #1 from June 1967, featuring classic work by legendary Spider-Man co-creator Steve Ditko. The issue stars Ted Kord as the Blue Beetle in “Blue Beetle Bugs the Squids!” and includes the historic “Who Is the Question?” backup story featuring Vic Sage/The Question.

The original 1967 issue is an important Steve Ditko/Charlton key because it introduced The Question. This 1977 Modern Comics edition gives collectors the same classic material in an increasingly difficult-to-find high-grade reprint.
