An electronic rangefinder, aperture-priority TTL AE 35mm SLR camera developed specifically for users who found it difficult to focus while looking through the viewfinder.

It employed a method of searching for peaks in the contrast image of the subject projected onto three CCD line sensors. A focus information display function was located at the bottom of the viewfinder field of view. By rotating the lens focusing ring according to the front/back focus arrow indicators, the central focus confirmation mark would illuminate, indicating proper focus.

Exposure control utilized aperture-priority TTL AE with an SPC element. The shutter featured fully electronic, stepless control. Metering employed center-weighted average metering. Its popularity stemmed from the unrestricted compatibility with all FD interchangeable lenses.

Mint: Perfect condition.

EX+: May have slight scratches and stains, but in very good condition.

EX: Condition with some noticeable damage.

VG: Not in good condition with scratches and stains.
