Victorian Whitework Embroidery Lace White Organdy Cotton Corset Cover Camisole

This antique Victorian era whitework embroidery lace white organdy cotton corset cover camisole dates from 1900. It is made of a white sheer crisp cotton organdy fabric, with whitework embroidery eyelet cutwork, drawn thread work and bow bobbin lace trim accents. This lovely lace lingerie corset cover camisole top has an adjustable ribbon drawstring neckline, sleeveless, a fitted drawstring skirted waist, an over the head style with no closures and is sheer, unlined. The top measures 15 inches long, with a 38 inch chest and an adjustable 36 inch waist. It is in good as-is condition, has recently been cleaned, has a few frays in the lace trim edging armholes, bottom hemline and two patched mended repairs on the back covered with lace appliques (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana underpinnings wearable art!
