1970s DEATH RATTLE #1 & 3 Kitchen Sink Comics VG 1st Prints Corben Adults Only

Death Rattle #1 and #3 offer vintage 1970s underground horror from the original Kitchen Sink/Krupp Comic Works run; black-and-white anthology comics packed with offbeat supernatural terror, cult-comix energy, and contributions from names including Richard Corben, Tom Veitch, Tim Boxell, John Pound, and Mike Vosburg.

Because these early issues were loosely credited, they are best described as multi-creator anthologies, rather than comics by one writer.

Death Rattle #1 (1972) features stories/art by Tim Boxell, John M. Pound, Richard Corben, and Peter Poplaski; the first volume also includes work associated with Tom Veitch and Mike Vosburg.

Death Rattle #3 (1973), the final issue of the original three-issue series, includes work from Mike Roberts, W. E. Hayden, Tim Boxell, John Pound, Mike Vosburg, and writer Tom Veitch. Veitch and Vosburg are specifically noted as reunited in the issue.

Both comic issues are in very good/very fine condition. They are vintage used comics but show little to no signs of wear. There are no rips, splits, tears, or inscriptions from past readers. Appears to be very lightly used.

Each issue is approximately 6.75 x 9.75 inches.
