This is Simon Buckmaster’s Racing Team Katayama one-piece suit, photo-matched to his 2nd-place finish at the 1989 Nations Grand Prix at Misano — his lone Grand Prix podium, earned in the rain when privateers braved what the factory giants would not.

Sourced from Ken Buckmaster’s house clearance, these leathers were found with the other 10 rescued items on that same foggy morning, forming a complete story of two men’s racing lives — now ready for the collector who sees not just leather, but legacy.
