Rare vintage 1966 Hasbro "Katie the Carrot" and Mr. Potato Head toy set (Item No. 2053).

Released by Hassenfeld Bros., Inc., this hard-to-find set features the classic Mr. Potato Head along with Katie the Carrot from the nostalgic Tooty Frooty Friends line. The outer box is structurally solid with vibrant mid-century artwork, showing only typical minor edge wear from storage.

Inside the box, you will find both of the hard plastic character bodies along with their incredibly rare matching plastic clothing bases: the yellow suit for Mr. Potato Head and the teal dress for Katie the Carrot. These molded bases are highly sought after by collectors and are frequently missing from these sets. A variety of loose vintage facial features, ears, a mustache, and a pipe are also included at the bottom of the box.

It appears someone also handmade their own accessories!! These are also vintage and included with the other items.
