Thank you for visiting my listing! 🌊

This is a beautiful Japanese Arita ware small porcelain plate featuring the traditional Seigaiha wave pattern.

It was purchased directly from the pottery studio at the Arita Pottery Fair 2026 in Japan.

The rich deep-blue glaze and softly raised wave design create a beautiful sense of depth and movement. Depending on the light, the glossy surface reveals subtle variations of indigo and blue.

Seigaiha, meaning “blue ocean waves,” is a traditional Japanese pattern symbolizing peace, good fortune, and the hope that happiness will continue as endlessly as the waves.

Its compact size is perfect for soy sauce, condiments, small appetizers, pickles, sweets, or desserts. It can also be used as a jewelry tray or displayed as a charming piece of Japanese decor.
