Stunning vintage 80s formal dress from designer LILLIE RUBIN, just as stylish today. No size tag, please check measurements provided below; quite small, not able to zip up the back on my mannequin. Gorgeous blue, can't decide if it's royal or purple blue. Silk chiffon overlay, ruched/pleated at the high neck, sleeves and empire bust, boned on both sides of each side seam. Dramatic trapeze below the empire bust, off-center slit. Smallish shoulder pads. Rayon satin below the waist is a pencil design with a center slit. USA/Union Made and Order Number tags attached. Overall in excellent vintage condition; however ...... the neck is missing one hook (photo 17) and there is a small part of the satin hem that should be stitched (photo 20), both of which I'm glad to address, just ask. And the satin has an ombre fade that I'm not sure if was original or from the passage of time. Does not have the look of stains, and in my opinion does not detract at all from how beautiful you will look and feel in this gown! Best appreciated by reviewing al photos.
