Description

This is a used Lenovo ThinkPad X220, a classic compact ThinkPad featuring the traditional 7-row keyboard.

This unit has been upgraded from its original configuration with 16GB of memory, an Intel SSD and an Intel N6300AGN wireless card.

Power-on operation, software installation and system updates were tested. ChromeOS Flex was also installed during testing and basic operation was confirmed.

Windows 10 is currently installed.

This is an older ThinkPad and is recommended for users who understand the characteristics and limitations of vintage computer hardware.

  • Power-on operation was confirmed.

Condition
  • This is a used and older laptop with visible signs of age and use. There are scratches, scuffs, stains and general cosmetic wear throughout the exterior.
  • The exterior was lightly cleaned, but some dirt, stains and discoloration could not be completely removed.
  • The keyboard and display appear to be in relatively better cosmetic condition than the exterior, but please judge the actual condition from the listing photos.
  • The TrackPoint may occasionally not respond correctly or may operate inconsistently.
  • The battery is significantly deteriorated and should be considered to have little usable runtime. We recommend using the laptop with the AC adapter connected.
  • Due to the age and design of this model, the laptop can become quite warm during operation.
  • CrystalDiskInfo displays SSD power-on count and operating-hour values that appear unusual. Therefore, the accuracy of the SSD usage-history information cannot be guaranteed.

The battery has very limited remaining runtime due to age. Please assume that AC power will be required for normal use.

This is an older computer and the chassis may become noticeably warm during operation.
