Unique handcrafted Southwestern sterling silver trophy concho pin. This piece was awarded at the 2001 Montana State Finals Rodeo / Livestock show for the "Reserve Senior Champion" category. This piece is hand-signed in script engraving on the reverse side "By Billy Long" and date "08-01". Billy Long is a highly regarded Navajo silversmith known for his clean, authentic and traditional metalwork.
Front design is hand-stamped border detailing "Montana State Finals Reserve Sr" around a central gold-tone steer/bison skull stamped with "01". Rear has fixed heavy-gauge metal loop slide designed to safely slide onto leather belt straps, hatbands or gear accents.
