This antique Victorian era white cotton crochet lace yoke top trim chemise smock nightgown dates from 1900. It is made of a white cotton fabric with a handmade crochet lace geometric pattern yoke top and sleeve cuff trim. This lovely lace lingerie chemise shift smock frock nightdress nightgown has a long floor length loose fitting style, with a crochet lace yoke top, a low plunging V front neckline with silk ribbon woven through, an embroidered decorative stitched front placket with fabric covered button closures, long full sleeves with pink silk ribbon drawstring lace trim fitted cuffs and is sheer, unlined. The nightdress measures 49 inches long, with a 38 inch chest, 60 inch waist, 60 inch hips, 20 inch long sleeves and a 17 inch back. It is in excellent condition, recently cleaned. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana wearable art!
