Organization: General System (General Telephone & Electronics / GTE)

Award Level: 20 Years of Service (indicated by the four stars)

Style: Tie Tack with attached chain and T-bar

Material: Stamped "10K EMBLEM" (The enameled front plate and raised telephone are solid 10K gold. As is standard industry practice, the pin post, chain, T-bar, and internal rivets are base metal/gold-filled). Most of the weight is solid gold weight as the enamel inlay is very thin and the post is not a significant amount of weight. The the edges and backing all test as 10k gold. It's not just the phone.

Weight: 2.141 grams (Weight is for the main emblem and pin post ONLY. It does not include the weight of the attachable chain, T-bar, or clutch backing).

Hallmarks: "10K EMBLEM" alongside a vintage diamond maker's mark cartouche.

Condition:

Excellent vintage condition with the original blue and white baked enamel fully intact. There is light surface wear to the gold consistent with age and typical use. The raised telephone emblem is securely attached, and the tie tack chain and T-bar are included and in great working order. Please review all macro photos closely for exact condition and hallmark details.

(Note: The weight of 2.141g is for the primary 10k emblem piece and its base metal pin post/rivets. The chain and T-bar will be included in the sale but are excluded from the stated weight) I'm not going to sell it under the gold value. The enamel is thin and light and almost the entire weight is 10k gold
