  1. Purpose: These pocket-sized books were privately published and distributed for trainmen and enginemen to record daily work hours, trips, and pay. 
  2. Bonus Content: They frequently featured local business advertisements from railroad towns, employee timetables, and division-specific seniority lists. 
  3. Seniority Date Function: Conductors were listed strictly by their official promotion or hire date to govern job bidding, runs, and furloughs.
The book includes all the Conductors, Engineers, Brakemen and Yardmen.
