For sale is a Japanese Meiji Era (1868-1912) natural wood slab which has an unique organic shape and a masterfully hand-carved topside.  It features a striking, weathered rustic wood grain texture.  The topside reveals interesting hand-carved rectangular pockets and depressions, indicating it may have been used as a traditional Tea Ceremony stand (for small stoves/kettles) or a stand for Bonsai and Ikebana.

The natural wood slab is also perfect as a rustic display stand for Suiseki (viewing stones).  It is excellent as an oriental accent centerpiece for displaying flower vases, antiques, Buddhist statues or altar related items, etc.  This is a wonderful addition for collectors of Japanese fine art.
