For sale is a beautiful 1978 Japanese Arita-ware (Imari) white porcelain figurine of a Japanese Chin dog (resembling a Pekingese), crafted by Noguchi Shozan and the renown Shozan Kiln.  On the bottom, there is a blue square mark/signature reading "有田 勝山" (Arita Shozan).  The figurine features exquisite detailed sculpting of the long fur and a glossy white glaze finish.  It is a wonderful vintage collector's item representing traditional Japanese porcelain craftsmanship.

The pre-owned Arita porcelain Chin dog figurine is in good vintage displayable condition.  There are no noticeable chips or cracks but there are some small marks on the bottom of the paws and perhaps a minor nick(s).  Please refer to the photographs to determine the overall condition and the quality of the craftsmanship, detailing, design, etc.  The figurine is about 15cm (5 7/8") high, 18.5cm (7 1/4") long, 8.5cm (3 5/16") wide and it weighs 630 grams.

UNITED STATES BUYERS:  In accordance with eBay policy, all import duties and custom clearance fees have been included in the shipping price.  There are no import duties or custom clearance fees upon delivery.

EU BUYERS:  All items have a mandatory 3 customs duty that will be charged on all e-commerce packages sent from Japan.  This fee is applied per item.  However, you may still have to pay neccessary customs duties, and other related fees.

There are 3 methods of paying the fees.  They are Postal Delivery Duties Paid (PDDP), Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) and Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU).  We will ship packages by JAPAN POST but it uses DDU which is not accepted by some EU countries.  We will use SpeedPAK to EU countries such as Germany that demand PDDP or DDP.  SpeedPAK is a little more expensive.

EUROPE, AUSTRALIA, CANADA, ASIA, ETC.
