I'm very happy to combine postage. However, Ebay now insist that Private Sellers use their ‘Simple Delivery’ service - and it isn’t simple! If you would like more than one magazine, please use the 'add to basket' option for each one first, rather than 'buy it now'. If you're not sure how to do this, I'd be very happy to help.

This size of magazine is usually a Large Letter, but about four of them make a Small Parcel. However, there’s still quite a useful saving to be made.

Another suggestion. If more than one magazine looks interesting, it might be worth asking me to put them together into just one group. It could save you money on 'buyer protection' charges, as well as combining postage?

Here is the Radio Times for 3-9 August 1995. This is the North East edition, sold originally for 30p.

The cover features the Queen Mother, who celebrates her 85th birthday that week. Inside, a two-and-a-half-page feature looks at the hand-picked entertainment Radio 4 has scheduled. Among the artists chosen, are Roy Hudd, Richard Murdoch, Tony Hancock, Ian McKellen, Judi Dench and Owain Arwel Hughes.

Other features of interest inside include:

  • A three-page article visits Londonderry and asks whether the differences between the Republicans and Loyalists can be solved. The article focuses on Martin McGuinness and Gregory Campbell
  • Trial at Torun is a radio adaptation of the trial of Fr Jerzy Popieluszko’s murderers. The preview includes a picture of leading cast members Bernard Hill, Peter Vaughan and Robert Lang
  • Harry Fenwick writes a half-page introduction to a repeat showing of Shogun
  • Donald Gee stars in his wife Shirley Gee’s play ‘Flights’. There’s a full-page feature
  • Over a page on DJ Adrian John and the Radio 1 Roadshow

Full listings are given for all BBC radio and tv programmes.
