I'm very happy to combine
postage. However, Ebay now insist that Private Sellers use their ‘Simple
Delivery’ service - and it isn’t simple! If you would like more than one
magazine, please use the 'add to basket' option for each one first, rather than
'buy it now'. If you're not sure how to do this, I'd be very happy to help. This size of magazine is usually
a Large Letter, but about four of them make a Small Parcel. However, there’s
still quite a useful saving to be made.
Another suggestion. If more than
one magazine looks interesting, it might be worth asking me to put them
together into just one group. It could save you money on 'buyer protection'
charges, as well as combining postage? Here is the Radio Times for 17-23 January 1987. This is the West edition, sold originally for 35p. The cover features Michael Caine, one of the stars contributing to Dilys Powell’s History of the British Cinema on Radio 4. There’s a two-page feature, which includes Caine choosing his own favourite British film (The Third Man). Inside Features: ·
A one-page interview with David Frost, who
is the host of Pull the Other One on Radio 2 ·
Janet Suzman and Nigel Hawthorne star in radio
adaptations of plays by Christopher Hope – two-page feature ·
A short interview with Nigel
Kennedy
·
A page on 60 years of sports
broadcasting on radio includes a picture of the grid system used to guide
listeners to where the action was on the field (often said to be the origin of
the phrase ‘back to square one’, although this is disputed) Full listings are given for all BBC radio and tv programmes.
The magazine is in good condition, clean and flat with no clippings or annotations, just a little tanning in the upper margin of the cover. The magazine will be posted
in a protective comic bag, inside a new Jiffy Airkraft padded envelope,
protected by card stiffeners. |
