This is a vintage Miriam Haskell double-strand faux pearl choker, c. 1950s, with gilt filigree at the throat and a bouquet of blue and opaline glass at center. Haskell's New York workroom hand-wired every bead and floweret onto a filigree backplate — a labor-intensive signature collectors still hunt for. The baroque glass pearls and antiqued gold plating are pure mid-century American glamour.
