This is a beautiful decorative plate designed and produced by the Emma Bridgewater factory in collaboration with the National Trust for Scotland. 

In vibrant colours, this decorative plate is in a cream colour with a deep blue band at the outer rim, matching the blue of the thistles which appear as part of the diamond and thistle design around the rim on the face of the plate and also the underside - as I have shown. 

A plate in a pleasing design, which measures 8.5 inches in diameter.   

The interior circle of the plate is plain cream, and this remains in clean condition although the plate has been used and does carry quite heavy usage / cutlery marks which can be seen when the plate is held to the light - as I have tried to show in my photographs.
