Rare Vint Pr 1940 T.W. Sherrin 10oz Boxing Gloves w Fighting

This is
a great find for the boxing paraphernalia enthusiast or simply someone looking
to dress up their gym or “man-cave”.
They are an original pair of T.W. Sherrin’s Champion tan leather 10oz
boxing gloves for a smaller hand. One has a T.W. Sherring collectible woven
cloth label showing the T.W. Sherrin Fighting Kangaroo logo above the official “Reg'd
as used in interstate and international matches” of the post war period. We
date the pair to around the late 1940s through 1950s. Note the camera lights have
made the gloves appear tan in colour whereas they are a darkish brown.

The gloves
are in very good condition with no splits, tears or issues, damage or faults to
report some wear and rub to the cuff piping; note there are no laces. The
images show the condition far better than we can detail, please study these

Measures: length 26cm x width across including thumb 16.5cm; 580g overall.
