On auction, we have the original Leger poster for an exhibition of his graphic works on 7 October-12 November 1988 at Pasquale Iannelli Art Galleries, Inc. in San Francisco. This poster features "Plate 98 from Cirque, 1950, Original lithograph in colors, Sapphire 99". On very thick glossy paper, this measures 24" X 18". Again, this is an original, not a re-print.
This is in good or better condition. The printing is bold, bright, clean and clear. This has been handled and has a few light wrinkles. There is a light black streak on the lower right, probably from printing. The back has toned a bit at the bottom. As I am not an expert on art, please view my photographs for more description.
This is from my friend who is moving to a much smaller home and parting with some of his treasures.
