Bing&Grondahl porcelain plaque depicting Kronborg. The motif is hand-decorated in classic cobalt blue shades applied underglaze.
The first Bing&Grondahl Christmas plate was created in 1895 on the initiative of Harald Bing, then president of the company: it was the first of what has become the oldest and most uninterrupted series of porcelain collector's plates, starting a Christmas tradition appreciated throughout the world.
This plaquette is also produced in limited quantities: production ends at the end of the year with the destruction of the original shape, making reproduction impossible.
On the back there is the original Bing&Grondahl brand, to guarantee authenticity.
