Tataki nomi are large, heavy-duty Japanese chisels designed for timber framing, carpentry, joinery and other demanding woodworking applications.

This set includes eight chisels in graduated blade widths from approximately 15mm to 48mm.

The overall lengths range from approximately 240mm to 300mm.

The visible maker markings include Sukemichi, Zensaku, Tentai, Tomohiro, Toshiei and Nomizen.

Two additional chisels have markings that are present but difficult to identify.

These tools were previously used by a professional woodworking company and show visible signs of age, wear and maintenance.

The original seller states that there are no major chips in the cutting edges and that the chisels can be returned to working condition with normal sharpening and maintenance.
