For sale is a very unusual to say the least, Welsh Codd bottle that is 15.5cms tall, embossed H. THOMAS. NEWPORT, weighs 481g, and is leaning to one side due to the extreme heat that was generated during it`s burial on a Victorian rubbish tip. The heat needed to melt this bottle would be 1,400 - 1,600 degrees C  (2,552 - 2,912 degrees F), surprisingly the marble is still in place !!! This bottle just seemed too much of a novelty to throw back into the hole, and will make a great talking point when someone sees this odd, drunk looking bottle on your shelf.
