An original World War Two related V-mail letter that was written by William G. Gough Jr. who was in the 290th Infantry 75th Division. He was Killed In Action during the Battle of the Bulge on January 20, 1945 in Belgium. I currently have an item listed that shows copies of newspaper clippings and a copy of a telegram mentioning he was Killed In Action. There is also information on the internet saying he was killed at Burtonville Belgium. This letter was written to his sweetheart. In one area he says,....I'm in France now, don't worry if you don't hear from me for a while - just trust in God, He will bring us together again I hope and pray its soon........ It has the send to address of Fair Oaks California. I currently have other items listed that belonged to this person.
The letter has some wear in areas.
