SEIKO SELECTION SBJG017 is a Japan-market digital watch based on the distinctive Rotocall design first introduced in 1982.
Its octagonal rotating bezel functions as a rotary selector, allowing the wearer to change operating modes simply by turning the bezel. The yellow and black bezel accents provide a bold contrast against the silver stainless-steel case and bracelet.
The original Rotocall design gained strong international recognition for its unique operating system and association with astronauts. This updated version retains its retro-futuristic appearance while adding practical everyday functions.
Powered by the A824 quartz caliber, the watch offers approximately three years of battery life and accuracy of ±20 seconds per month.
Functions include a 1/100-second stopwatch measuring up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds, counter, alarm, countdown timer up to 100 minutes, dual-time display, LED illumination, battery-life warning, and a full automatic calendar programmed through December 31, 2074.
The 37mm stainless-steel case features Hardlex crystal, a screw case back, and 100-meter water resistance.
