You are looking at a rare TAG Heuer 2000 Series Professional 972.613 model watch. Model 972.613 is the same as model WE1213. This model has the highly sought after dial color that TAG calls Moondust. It has a blue sand or golden granite look in certain light. Not many of these were made. I am a watch collector who owns over 500 TAG Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. This survivor was considered a TAG men's size watch when released, but I would consider it more of a midsize in today's market. Midsize watches were typically worn by a man back in the 80s and 90s, but I feel that it is best suited for a woman nowadays, based on its size. It is really all about your preference, so please look at the size. I would say it is best suited for a smaller man, a man who likes slightly smaller faced watches, or a woman who likes slightly larger sized watches, compared to traditional women's sizes. Watch case size is 34mm (38mm including the crown). The crystal is in good condition with several light scratches. The back casing is in very good condition with light wear scratches. The stainless steel band is in very good condition with light wear scratches. The clasp and surrounding area is in very good condition with light wear scratches. The bezel is in very good condition with good color and light scratches. The bezel on this model is supposed to be a lighter shade of blue, as compared to the dial. It is not faded. The hands and hour markers look excellent. I would rate this survivor as a solid 8 out of 10 in condition. It is beautiful. The watch is all original and will fit up to a 7 inch wrist. It also has the wetsuit extension, which allows you to easily get it over your hand. The inner hinge is missing from the inner clasp area. The function of the inner hinge is to provide a more secure closure. The watch still has the safety clasp closure that secures the watch over the wrist. With the inner clasp hinge missing, it is not as tight of a fit, but it still does close and secure. It still works and functions. You could also go out and buy a used one online for approximately $40. Since I am being upfront about this issue, I am not accepting returns. The bezel turns and clicks crisply in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. It keeps perfect time. This model has a quartz movement and it is 200 meters water resistant. New battery just installed by TAG dealer. This watch retailed for $1295 new.
