KATO 10-2131 SNCF TGV Euroduplex βinOuiβ 5-Car Basic Set.
This highly detailed N scale model recreates the modern SNCF TGV Euroduplex, a double-deck high-speed train used on domestic and international services throughout France and neighboring European countries.
The model features the modern Carmillon livery, combining silver, gray, black and distinctive carmine-red accents. The βinOuiβ branding introduced by SNCF for its premium TGV services is accurately reproduced on the train.
The streamlined power cars feature the updated front-window area with the lower recess closed and additional roof antennas. Two different pantograph designs and finely reproduced roof equipment enhance the realistic appearance.
The double-deck passenger cars feature ivory-colored seating and articulated connections between the cars.
A flywheel-equipped motor provides smooth and stable operation. Both power cars are equipped with functional warm white LED headlights and red taillights.
The front coupling covers can be removed and the included drawbar installed to recreate a realistic coupled 20-car formation with another compatible TGV set.
The model is also DCC ready with compatible 6-pin decoder sockets.
Brand new in the original KATO packaging.
