The Northridge Market is a small business specializing in antiques, collectibles, trading cards, books, home goods, clothing, and unique finds. We look for items with character, history, and collector appeal, then offer them at fair prices.
For Magic: The Gathering cards, you are buying from a longtime player and collector who has been enjoying the game since the late 1990s. We understand how important condition, authenticity, and careful shipping are to players and collectors.
Card condition is assigned using the standard trading card scale: Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played, or Heavily Played. Each card is evaluated based on the front and back surface, corners, edges, whitening, scratches, clouding, dents, creases, and overall play wear. We are not professional card graders and cannot guarantee any third-party grading outcome (PSA, CGC, BGS, etc.).
Near Mint:
A clean card with very minimal handling wear. It may have tiny edge or corner imperfections, but no major whitening, bends, creases, dents, or heavy surface wear.
Lightly Played:
A card with light visible wear from handling or play. This may include minor edge wear, small corner wear, light surface marks, or slight whitening, but the card still presents well overall.
Moderately Played:
A card with clear signs of play wear. This may include noticeable whitening, edge wear, corner wear, surface scratches, scuffs, or general handling wear. The card is still fully playable in a sleeve.
Heavily Played:
A card with significant visible wear. This may include heavy whitening, strong edge or corner wear, surface wear, dirt, bends, dents, or creasing. Best suited for casual play, binder filling, or budget deck building.
We take card shipping seriously and pack each order with care to help protect your cards in transit.
Cards $20 and Under:
Cards valued at $20 and under ship through eBay Standard Envelope. Each card is placed in a penny sleeve for protection.
Cards Over $20:
Cards valued over $20 ship through USPS Ground Advantage with insurance. Each card is placed in a penny sleeve, secured inside a top loader, protected between cardboard, and shipped in a bubble mailer for added protection.
We understand that condition matters to players and collectors, so we take the extra time to package cards carefully before shipment.
