József Katona (11 November 1791, Kecskemét – 16 April 1830, Kecskemét) was a Hungarian playwright and poet, creator of the Hungarian historical tragedy Bánk bán.

Gábor Egressy (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈɡaːbor ˈɛɡrɛʃi]) was a Hungarian actor and brother of Béni Egressy. He was responsible for bringing the dramas of William Shakespeare to the Hungarian stage in the Hungarian Language.[1]
