Vintage illustrated Hawaii postcard from Laszlo’s “Honolulunights” series featuring a colorful tropical shoreline, palm trees, a steamship, and the word “Aloha” formed from the ship’s smoke. The artwork is signed “Laszlo’s Honolulunights ©” at the lower left.

The postcard was mailed from Kahuku, Hawaii, and is postmarked July 14, 1944. It retains its original U.S. 1¢ National Defense “Industry-Agriculture / For Defense” stamp and bears a circular “U.S. Censorship Examined By 71109” handstamp, documenting wartime mail screening in the Territory of Hawaii during World War II. Addressed to Washington, D.C., with a handwritten message on the reverse.
