A near pair of antique American Carnival Glass trumpet vases, attributed to Dugan Glass Co., dating to the early 20th century, circa 1908–1915. One vase is finished in amethyst with rich purple, gold and green iridescence, while the other is in olive green with vibrant peacock iridescence.

Both stand approximately 11.3 inches (28.7 cm) high and feature elegant flared trumpet forms with crimped rims, moulded Art Nouveau-inspired vertical feather and fluted decoration, and fire-polished bases. Although produced from two different moulds, they complement one another beautifully as a matched display.

Carnival Glass was developed in America in the early 1900s as an iridescent decorative glass, and Dugan was among its finest manufacturers, renowned for producing bold moulded designs with exceptional colour.
