Years ago I was into making quilts..this is the last one I did in 1990. Has never been used..altho a small stain (see 4th pic from last) happened somehow while in storage
Size is 80 x 80. Shown on a queen bed in pic.
Dark navy blue & bright yellow color combo. (I just thought it was pretty combo) White backing.
Machine pieced, but I hand quilted in the yellow blocks. I don`t know if the quilting design had a name..I used mostly coloring books for my quilting patterns. The binding is machine attached & hand sewn down.
If I remember correctly (has been awhile) the fabric is poly cotton..backing might be cotton. Batting is a poly fiberfill.
I`m sure somewhere a school`s colors are navy & yellow..this would make a great gift for the fan!
My personal method for cleaning quilts (not old ones of course) is wash on gentle cycle.. line dry & then air fluff in dryer if needed. NO heat!
