THE VIC 20 Retro Console (Retro Games)

THE VIC 20 Retro Console recreates the distinctive appearance of the classic Commodore VIC-20 at full size, complete with a fully working keyboard. Connect it to a modern television using HDMI and enjoy 64 built-in VIC 20 and Commodore 64 games with the included microswitch joystick.

Switch between VIC 20 Mode, C64 Mode and the Games Carousel, or use the working keyboard to explore BASIC programming. Compatible games, programs and multi-disk titles that you own can also be loaded and saved using a USB memory stick.

THE VIC 20 Features

Full-Size Working Keyboard

The full-size keyboard recreates the familiar layout of the original VIC-20 and can be used for games, programs and BASIC commands.

64 Built-in Games

The included library brings together VIC 20 and Commodore 64 games covering action, adventure, shooting, platform, puzzle, racing, sports and role-playing gameplay.

Three Switchable Modes

Choose between VIC 20 Mode, C64 Mode and the Games Carousel depending on how you want to use the system.

Microswitch Joystick

The included USB joystick uses precision microswitch controls and additional function buttons for gameplay and system navigation.

Load Compatible Games by USB

Load and save compatible games, programs and multi-disk titles that you own using a USB memory stick.

Program in BASIC

Use the working keyboard to create programs in VIC 20 or Commodore 64 BASIC and save them to USB storage.

Save Your Progress

Each built-in game supports four save-game slots, allowing you to save your progress and return later.

720p HDMI Output

Connect THE VIC 20 to a compatible modern television or monitor using HDMI, with support for 720p output at 50Hz or 60Hz.
