This product is the latest and improved version of the remote sensor that match all weather stations (sold separately). Our home weather stations expand to three channels to enable them to collect data from three different locations and are designed to display outdoor temperature and humidity. Our outdoor weather station sensor was carefully designed and expertly crafted to be weatherproof. We do recommend, however, that you place it outdoors with a shelter. If leaving it in rain, water can get inside the battery compartment. Our conveniently compact indoor weather station sensor is powered by two AA batteries (sold separately). To proper synchronization, insert the batteries to your base unit first and then insert batteries to the remote sensor.
