I'm very happy to combine postage. However, Ebay now insist that Private Sellers use their ‘Simple Delivery’ service - and it isn’t simple! If you would like more than one magazine, please use the 'add to basket' option for each one first, rather than 'buy it now'. If you're not sure how to do this, I'd be very happy to help. I should be able to send at least eight Radio Times (in the UK) for the same price as one.

Another suggestion. If more than one magazine looks interesting, it might be worth asking me to put them together into just one group. It could save you money on 'buyer protection' charges, as well as combining postage?


Here is the Radio Times for 28 January-3 February 1984. This is the West edition, originally sold for 28p.

 The cover features playwright Ronald Harwood, who talks about his new series, All the World’s a Stage. Harewood explains the premise of the series, which took five years to film and visited thirteen countries, in a three-page feature.

 Other items of interest include:

  • A one-page interview with Barbra Streisand, who is observed making her directorial debut, on the film Yentl, in a forty-minute documentary
  • An interview with Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones ahead of the first Alas Smith and Jones show
  • a two-page preview of the start of the fondly remembered series One by One, which follows the adventures of a young vet, played by Rob Heyland (based on the experiences of David Taylor)

The magazine is in good used condition, clean and flat, with no clippings or inner annotations just with a little light wear. Almost certainly from the printing process, there's a tiny splash of green ink in the upper cover margin. 

In common with many magazines from this era, there's some transfer of ink from colour pages to adjacent pages. Please see the pictures.

The magazine will be posted in a protective comic bag, inside a new Jiffy Airkraft padded envelope, protected by card stiffeners.
