[UHQCD] [Semi-new album/encore press] [This year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of ECM! ] In 1969, ECM (abbreviation for "Edition of Contemporary Music"), a leading European jazz label founded by a rare charismatic producer = Manfred Eicher in Munich, Germany.
The concept of the label when it was founded was "music that is second only to silence". What sets it
apart from other labels is its transparent sound, clear sound quality, and sophisticated and beautiful jacket design, which attracts many fans around the world. He
has produced many jazz masterpieces such as Keith Jarrett's "The Cologne Concert" ('75), Chick Corea's "Return to Forever" ('72), and Pat Metheny's "Bright Size Life" ('76).
In 1984, he expanded his genre and entered the classical world. The
ECM New Series was launched, focusing on contemporary music, and new works by Arvo Pärt, Gidon Kremer, Heinz Holliger and others were presented.
