We are very pleased to be able to offer for your consideration this Victorian era Birds Head paper clip.

This is a beautiful cast bronze Victorian era item. It is a very stylish birds head clip. This clip looks very much like the head  of a Heron and has very intense set of yellow glass eyes. The backing plate is ornate and hold the spring that keeps the beak shut, and allows opening to insert documents or enveloped letters.
The item is approximately 7 5/8ths inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide.

This piece is done very much in the style of a Susse-Feres Bronze birds head clip,  but this clip carries no foundry, or makers mark, but is still a very beautiful piece.

If you are a collector of Victorian era Bronze pieces, or collect antique desk or stationary items, this Bronze birds head clip will be a wonderful addition to your collection.
