This is a great pair of shakers for a rustic, primitive farmhouse.  It is a pair of two handmade stoneware shakers with a domed top and chunky handles. They have cork stoppers near the top and a stamped sun pattern on the handle. They are hand-thrown pottery and have ridges associated with a hand-crafted item. They are not identical.  One shaker is taller and thinner than the other. The glaze is a speckled brown glaze with a varied finish that is shiny in some spots and matte in others.  They are "messy" in the best possible way. The taller shaker has three holes, and the cork stopper can be removed. The shorter shaker has five holes and I have not been able to remove the cork stopper.  It is flush with the shaker, and I did not want to damage it trying to remove it. You will most likely need to replace that stopper. They are in excellent condition, other than the cork stopper. There are no chips, cracks, or damage.  Please see the photos for specifics on the condition of these primitive pottery shakers.
