Collection of photographs by fashion photographer Jean-Francois Jonvelle. Quite a few female nudes.

From the dust jacket:

Bom in Cavaillon, France in 1943, he started his career as a press photographer with the Lipnitsky agency in 1961.

He worked as an assistant to Richard Avedon for six weeks in 1963 before being “discovered” by Jean Widmer, artistic director of Jardin des Modes, in 1965. For five years he worked for the magazine 2oAns, working at the same time also for Nova, in his opinion the best of the magazines he did photos for.

There followed Elle, Stem, Marie-Claire, British Vogue, Cosmopolitan, etc. In 1970 he threw himself into photographic publicity work, notable campaigns being for Woolmark, Levi’s, Dim, Club Mediterranean, Huit and Avenir (Myriam, the girl who promised to “take off her top”). More recent campaigns were for Galeries Lafayette Lingeries, etc.

Other ventures include staging for publicity films and three short films.
