Why does a general hearing aid suddenly produce a whistling sound when held in the hand?
That is a whistling sound. It is normal for a hearing aid to produce a whistling sound when held in the hand. However, after it is correctly worn in the ear, there should be no whistling sound. Otherwise, it will be uncomfortable to listen. This is because the speaker and the microphone of the hearing aid are too close, and the sound coming out of the speaker is directly received by the microphone again, forming a kind of sound loop feedback.
There are three solutions:
1.Turn the volume to the minimum.
2.Select a suitable earplug to keep the ear canal sealed, so that the sound will not leak too much and cause feedback whistling. There are 5 earplugs included. Choose an earplug that is just the right size.
3.Wear it correctly in the ear. (Here, you can insert the wearing schematic diagram of the product.)
After wearing the device as instructed, gradually adjust the volume to a comfortable level. (Since this is your first time wearing it, you may not know which volume setting suits you best. It takes some time to adapt initially—start with shorter wearing sessions and gradually increase the duration, just like getting used to wearing glasses. This helps ensure clear hearing!)
