The VESSEL 240001 is a heavy-duty manual impact driver designed for loosening damaged, rusted, seized, or tightly fastened screws.
When the end of the handle is struck with a hammer, the internal impact mechanism converts the force into rotational movement. This helps loosen stubborn fasteners while reducing the risk of further damage to the screw head.
The driver features a soft elastomer grip that is comfortable to hold and helps prevent slipping during demanding work. A flanged handle design also helps protect the hand when the tool is struck.
The rotation direction can be changed quickly with a one-touch mechanism. The included bit adapter accepts 8 mm hex-shank bits, and removing the adapter allows compatible 12.7 mm square-drive sockets to be installed.
