1) ITEM DESCRIPTION
Condition : As shown in the picture, it's very good condition. No chips, No cracks.
This is a vintage Japanese tea bowl of Iga Ware, which was made by the 1st class potter, Kei Tanimoto (1948- ) about 30-40 years ago.
The original wooden box with the seal of his kiln name (Mita kiln) is also included.
Iga ware has been made in Mie prefecture, Japan. It is very similar with Shigaraki ware, as the both locations are very close, and use the same pottery clay.
