The thermometer uses a K-type thermocouple sensor to measure the temperature through direct contact with the soldering tip. The AUTO HOLD function automatically detects the completion of a measurement and displays the stabilized result. MAX HOLD continuously displays the highest detected temperature, while the built-in measurement counter records how many temperature checks have been performed.
The compact body, clear 3.5-digit LCD, and 9V battery operation make this a practical inspection tool for technicians and quality-control professionals.
