This is an original World War Two  US AAF B-17, B-24 B-29 Bomber C-1 Autopilot Control Panel Without Switches. It is missing the rest of the box and all of the switches, and controls . This was mounted in the cockpit and allowed the pilot to operate the bomber on autopilot. The B-17 & B-24 were used in combat all over the world during WW 2. They were very successful bombers and several are restored and still fly today. This assembly is  9 x 8 x 3 inches.
