Lovely antique wooden fruit bowl on a stand, often referred to as a compote or tazza and crafted from turned English oak.

It features a shallow bowl supported by a central turned pedestal base with a cork bottom and dates from between the Victorian era to the 1930s.

Looks great as a decorative centerpiece or a functional stand for displaying fruit or cakes.

Measuring

The bowl is not exactly flat which you can see from the photos which rather adds to its charm.
