This tin can be dated back to the late 1800s to the early 1900s
These tins not only were printed to advertise the product they contained, many of them went on to serve a second function, that of a budget lunch box. This example is interesting due to the dual handles. It features the small almost D-Ring style on the lid top, but it also has the pivot wire handle that spans the tin lengthwise. Another perk, is that has retained the turned wood handle. The top is hinged and still functions.
